This Hair Food coconut milk and chai spice shampoo and conditioner makes your hair smell great and feeling nourished while protecting my color. Best of all, I appreciate that the packaging has a pump which makes it so much easier to use in the shower.
I received complimentary from Influenster but all opinions are my own.

ELF Prime Stay Finishing powder- This is my holy grail for undereye setting powder. It sets and highlights to cover dark circles. I already have repurchased.
Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara- This is a fantastic mascara! Unfortunately it is not cruelty free so I will be using it's $4 dupe Jordana Best Lash Extreme instead.
Lancome Smoothing & Pumping Pearly Lotion- To be honest I didn't understand this product. I used it at night after I removed my makeup but I didn't notice that it made a difference to my skin.
It Cosmetics Confidence in a Cream- Wow I loved this moisturizer so much! I can't wait to open my full size jar. Highly recommend.
Belief moisturizing eye cream- I love this eye cream so much. I wish it was cruelty free because then I would buy a full size.
Neutrogena Hydro Boost Water Gel- This was a really nice moisturizer that did hydrate quite a bit.
Coastal Scent concealer hot pots- Considering these are really cheap they were actually pretty nice. The amount in the pan in not a lot and you do go through it fast.
ELF eyeshadows- the first was a single pot and the other two were depotted from a palette. One of the colors was a teal "mermaid" color and it is my favorite color of eyeshadow. I will miss it
Julep hydrating cleansing oil- This oil worked okay to remove my makeup. I wouldn't buy a full size though.
Benefit Porefessional- I literally just got this sample in a Sephora order and when I used it I could tell it wasn't the normal consistency (I have what feels like a life time supply of deluxe samples) but I used it anyway and my makeup looked horrible so I think it was just a bad sample.
Degree body spray- I loved the smell of this spray but the scent didn't last long
Clean & Clear Acne Triple Clear Cleanser- Finally my last travel size bottle. I can now move on to my full size bottle.
Lulu hair color remover wipe- I have talked about these before. They work great to remove hair color on your forehead, neck, and ears after you get your hair dyed.
Elizabeth Arden Oil- I used this once on my body. It was just okay.

March and April 2018 empties |
Wet n Wild Megalength Mascara- This mascara will forever be in my empties. It is my holy grail mascara for bottom lashes. I have the second here because I unfortunately dropped the wand in the sink. Eww
L'Oreal Voluminous Lash Primer- This primer really makes any mascara a lot better. It adds a lot of volume. I wish this was cruelty free.
Makeup Forever Excessive Lash Mascara- A dryer formula but I still enjoyed this mascara. I would not buy a full size though.
ELF Lip Exfoliator- I love this lip scrub. It is very easy to use and I have already repurchased.
ELF Shimmer Whip- I'm pretty sure this product is discontinued now. I really enjoyed using this cream highlighter. It was just the right amount of glow and not glittery.
Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge- I'm not the biggest fan of applying foundation with a sponge. I did use this sponge to blend in my foundation to get rid of brush strokes. I will repurchase after I use my other sponges.
Found Charcoal Sheet Mask- An average sheet mask. I didn't notice that it made any difference.
Honest Beauty Makeup Wipes- I appreciate that these are natural. I took them to Vegas and they are just okay. I am not a fan of the smell. The wipes remove makeup quick in a pinch but I know there was still makeup remaining on my face. They do not remove eye makeup well at all.
Hello Pure Mint Toothpaste- I wanted to like this toothpaste but I just don't. It dissolves immediately and doesn't help make your teeth feel cleaner
Pacifica Glow Baby Face Scrub- To use this up faster I not only used it on my face but I also used it on my legs. It was nice but I wouldn't purchase a full size.
Avene Hydrance Optimale Serum- I really liked this primer but it is expensive
Burt's Bees Nourishing Facial Water- This was okay but I don't think this is a necessary step in a skincare routine
Josie Maran Argan Oil- I used this oil on my body after I got out of the shower. I am not a fan of the smell. I would not purchase a full size.
Laura Mercier Flawless Skin Infusion Rose Oil- I enjoyed this oil but it was only enough for 3 days. I used it on my face and nails.
Cosrx Nourishing Rice Overnight Mask- This was very hydrating so if you have dry skin I would recommend. On my combo/oily skin it make me breakout

February 2018 empties |
Maybelline Dream Mousse Blush- A great cream blush in a flattering color. This item is discontinued and it took forever to to use up but I enjoyed it.
Benefit Porefessional- My favorite primer I have tried. It really does minimize the look of pores and makes foundation go on smooth. I have a full size and several more mini sizes to go through
Manic Panic Dreamtone Foundation- A fantastic white foundation for lightening foundations. It is only $6.50 and lasts quite a while. It is also cruelty free and vegan so double wins.
Wet n Wild Illumi-Naughty Highlighting and Concealing Pen- This was used up quick just like the one last month. I really like using this over a concealer to brighten my under eyes.
Maybelline Dream Velvet Foundation- Overall I was not a fan. Coverage was just okay, I wore it just to run unimportant errands. It felt like it just sat on top of my skin and wear time wasn't the best.
Pacifica Kale Detox Face Wash- I was hoping to really enjoy this face wash since it is vegan and cruelty free but it broke my face out
Caudalie Vinoperfect Radiance Serum- This is a really expensive. This is the serum that made me realize that I do like using serums. I wouldn't buy the full size though.
Caudalie Vinosource Moisturizing Sorbet- This is a pricey moisturizer. I enjoyed the texture and smell but I think it also broke me out because it was so moisturizing.
Lancome Energie de Vie Smoothing & Plumping Cream- I honestly can't say an opinion on this because I only got two uses out of this foil packet. It seemed nice I guess.
Nyakio Smoothing Eye & Lip Cream- I got about 3 weeks of two times a day use out of this packet. I really really liked this eye and lip cream a lot and will definitely consider purchasing at Ulta. It helped smooth lines under eyes and on my lips.
First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream- This was okay. It is hard to tell with these little foil packets. I have a travel size tube I will be trying next.
Grand Finale Hair Spray- A great hairspray with intense hold. You get a very large amount for only $6
EOS Shave Cream- This was nice and lasted a really long time but I think you could just save your money and use the conditioner that is already in your shower
Caress Love Forever Body Wash- I had received a sample bottle of this and I really enjoyed it so I purchased a full size. I like it at first then it started making my skin itchy and dry. I am pretty sure the strong fragrance is to blame
Garnier Micellar Water- This is great to use after you remove your makeup to really make sure all your makeup is off before you do your skincare routine. It is also great for in the mornings when you don't have time to wash your face before applying makeup.
Tarte Maracuja Oil- I am so glad this is finished. This broke my face out months ago so I have not been wanting to use it. Instead, I finished it up by using it on my body. My skin became extra dry and itchy so overall I do not like this oil.

Love, Beauty, and Planet products
I received a box of Love Beauty Planet and hair care products from Crowdtap to test and review. This is a new brand that is cruetly free, vegan, and use recycled plastic in packaging. Let's just say this is my new favorite hair care brand.
Murumuru Butter & Rose Shampoo and Conditioner are both amazing! I have recently been struggling with oily hair that felt heavy. As soon as I used this shampoo and conditioner those issues went away and my hair feels amazing. I can go 3 days without needing to wash my hair again. The scent is very nice also. This particular shampoo and conditioner is for colored hair to preserve the color.
Smooth and Serene Leave-in Conditioner- The lavender smell is so nice. This product works well to control frizz and makes your hair silky smooth.
Volume and Bounty Dry Shampoo- I have tried a lot of dry shampoos and haven't found one I absolutely loved....until this one! It actually absorbs oil and can give me and extra day or two before needing to wash my hair. The packaging is very nice and sturdy. The grapefruit smell is not overwhelming. It does not give a white-cast to my black hair.

January 2018 Empties
First empties of the new year! I plan to use up/declutter even more products than I did last year. Speaking of decluttering, this year I am going to keep them separate from my monthly empties posts. I will do a post of them each quarter or whenever I have enough gathered together.
Almay Oil-Free Eye Makeup Removing Wipes- I enjoy these to remove my eye makeup. I have 2 containers left in my backups. I really wish Almay was cruelty free.
Sephora Avocado Sleeping Mask- I used this every night after I removed my makeup. It lasted over a week so that is a great value for $6. This avocado is the nourishing version and I feel it did do that.
Tarte Maracuja Oil- I loved this oil when I first bought it but then I forgot about it. When I started using it again I realized I didn't like it after all. It broke me out when I used it on my face. It didn't work that great on the ends of my hair. I ended up finishing this bottle on my body after the shower. I won't be repurchasing especially since I have a big bottle still to finish.
Egyptian Magic- Ew just ewwww!! I thought this was going to be a cream lotion consistency. No I was wrong. This is actually a thick paste of olive oil, beeswax, and honey. You have to warm it up in your hands to apply. You might as well just take olive oil and apply it straight to your skin.
Nubian Abyssinian Chia Seed Lotion- This is the second sample of this lotion I have used. I love the scent and how well this lotion sinks into my skin.

January 2018 empties |
Jordana pressed powder- I bought this powder when my last local Kmart was closing and it was only $1. It was very well worth the $1. This powder lasted me 4-5 months. It was better than expected. My skin didn't look cakey, stayed matte for a decent amount of time, and most importantly this powder gave me a bit of coverage. I love the Jordana brand and might repurchase once I use up more stock of face powders
NYX Concealer in a Jar- One of my favorite concealers to use on spots on my face. It is also good to use under eyes later in the day to refresh before going out. I will continue to repurchase once I use up some more concealers.
W3ll People Expressionist Mascara- I appreciate that this brand is natural and organic. I received this mascara in a Target beauty box last year. It wasn't the best but still usable. It did a good job of separating and providing a bit of length but didn't provide volume. I only got to use this for 2 weeks because I dropped the wand in my sink....ew.
Benefit Roller Lash Mascara- A pretty nice mascara. It does give lashes a curled and lifted look. It doesn't give as much volume as I normally would like but it is good for everyday. I love the packaging. I got this in a set but I would not purchase for $24. Plus, it is also not cruelty free.
Wet n Wild Illumi-Naughty Highlighting and Concealing Pen- As with most click-up pens this concealer was used up quickly. At first I used it by itself and it worked okay. I then layered it over a concealer and it worked great. I might repurchase.
Jordana Fabuliner Eyeliner- My holy grail eyeliner. I will continue to purchase again and again. This makes it super easy to do a wing.
ELF Double Ended Eyeliner Shadow Stick- I neglected this product for a long time. I flew through the eyeliner side using it as an eyebrow pencil. The cream shadow side was so pretty and I loved using it for brown looks. I will repurchase after I use some of my cream shadows.
Urban Decay Razor Sharp Liquid Liner- The formula of product is great but the brush is terrible. I'm not sure if the brush is the same on the full size.

12 pans of Christmas challenge & 2017 empties totals
Finished:
1. L'Oreal Infallible total cover foundation (actually ended up liking it after hating it at first)
2. Essence brown eyeliner (really creamy used on eyes and brows)
3. Neutrogena eye cream (I've been using this twice a day for 1.5 years and I don't think it has done much)
4. Urban Decay All Nighter setting spray (I like it but I don't know if I'd purchase a full size because of the alcohol)
5. Laura Mercier tinted moisturizer (not bad but the color was slightly orange/dark on me)
6. Benefit Ka Brow (not a bad product but the packaging is dumb. The brush won't even reach the product when most of it is used up)
7. Laura Mercier secret concealer (worked good as a corrector but you get a very small amount of product for the price)
8. Bare Minerals serum bronzer (I didn't understand this product especially since it was so orange)
